It’s hard to believe… but we begin our trek back to New York tonight! We’re flying from Lima to Bogota and we’ll arrive back in the city tomorrow afternoon. I predict I’ll be snoring the entire trip.
For my final outfit post in the Patricia Field x Hey Mishka in Peru series, featuring the rad designs of David Dalrymple for House of Field, I combined the woven bustier with a white textile I found at the Feria del altiplano towards the beginning of our stay in Arequipa.
As much as I love the bold neons and loud colors of most of the textiles we found in the markets, I found this primarily white textile elegant and refreshing. Combined with these other pieces, it takes on a whole new life!
Together with my new favorite hat, some white high tops and oversized gold hoops, this was one of my favorite looks. I hope you guys enjoyed seeing these festive outfits as much as I enjoyed shooting them. Check the previous outfits out if you missed any:

My next post will be written from the comfort of my Brooklyn abode… which I actually miss! But I’ll definitely miss a few things about Peru too, like steaming hot emolientes on chilly nights, breakfast rituals (which I’ll try to keep going in New York), and barley coffee.
Arequipa, Cusco, Lima—I loved these cities for different reasons, and they’ll all be in my heart from this point forward. What a trip!
I have many more photos and stories to share, so stay tuned…
