Editorial interlude! I’m taking a quick break from photo-posting to let you gawk over this amazing catalogue shoot for Saga Falabella—a Peruvian department store chain. It’s from a few months ago, but it’s as relevant as ever as I sit in an open courtyard in a country club in Arequipa freezing my fingers off on this chilly evening. Wish I had some of these gorgeous layered sweaters and leg warmers…
Check out the masterful use of neon, woven and knitted patterns, layering, indigenous-come-modern styling, and party animal appeal in these shots. Hard to believe this is a department store catalogue. It looks Teen Vogue-worthy to me.
I was in a Saga Falabella in AQP a couple days ago. It’s a bit less fashion-forward than these editorials suggest. It’s also insanely expensive for moderate quality goods, but none the less—this was too much fun not to post.
Okay! Finishing my beer and speeding off to a warmer temperature.
Hasta mañana!
